A niche perfume is a fragrance far removed from the mass market: high-quality raw materials, original compositions and a distinctive signature. Rather than aiming for broad appeal, niche houses focus on character – a fragrance should evolve on the skin and be unmistakable.

How do I find the right fragrance for me?

Take your time and wear the fragrance for a few days in everyday life. With our 3 ml decants you can discover at leisure how a perfume unfolds on your skin. Many people don’t find their signature scent with the first spray, but after a few days.

Do you offer samples or decants?

Yes. We offer a 3 ml decant of every fragrance in our range, so you can get to know your favourite before committing to a full bottle.

LEN Fragrance wurde 2015 von Jelena von Olnhausen gemeinsam mit Lalique-Eigentümer Silvio Denz gegründet. Hinter der Marke steht eine romantische Legende um alte Parfumformeln und eine Gräfin mit russisch-deutschen Wurzeln – und jeder Duft erzählt seine eigene Liebesgeschichte. Hochkonzentriert und preisgekrönt, ist 'Amour Brut' ein roher, unverstellter Ausdruck von Nähe.

Markeninhaberin

Jelena von Olnhausen ist Gründerin und Kuratorin der Parfummarke LEN Fragrance. Nach einer Promotion in Wirtschaftspolitik arbeitete sie als Journalistin, Auktionatorin und Galeristin, bevor sie sich ganz der Parfümerie widmete. Laut Markenlegende geht LEN auf zwei Parfumrezepte zurück, die der französische Parfümeur François de La Lènes um 1812 der Familie des Grafen Artuchowski, ihrer Vorfahren, schenkte. 2015 ließ sie diese Rezepte als Düfte wiederaufleben; in ihrer heutigen Form wurde die Marke 2018 gegründet. Die Linie Histoire Privée entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Team renommierter Parfümeure, darunter Michel Almairac.

Parfumeur

Michel Almairac ist ein französischer Parfümeur, geboren 1953 in Grasse. Er absolvierte die Parfümeurschule von Roure Bertrand Dupont (heute Givaudan) und arbeitete im Laufe seiner Karriere unter anderem für Takasago, Créations Aromatiques und Drom, bevor er Ende der 1990er-Jahre zu Robertet wechselte. Zu seinen bekanntesten Kreationen zählen Gucci Rush, Chloé, Joop! Homme, Voleur de Roses für L'Artisan Parfumeur und Ambrette 9 für Le Labo. Gemeinsam mit seinen Söhnen Benjamin und Romain gründete er die Marke Parle Moi de Parfum. Für LEN Fragrance komponierte er mehrere Düfte der Linie Histoire Privée.
