Cuir Elite follows in the great tradition of cognac-leather fragrances, yet translates it into a contemporary, softer language. The opening crackles with cognac, saffron, cardamom, coriander and thyme – a warm, spicy start that instantly brings to mind dark wood and well-aged spirits. At the heart, a surprisingly floral element rises: iris, rose and violet, threaded with davana and a sweet plum note, balance the severity of the top notes. The base then delivers the main attraction – supple leather, carried by cypriol, sandalwood and vetiver, embedded in a warm foundation of amber, vanilla and musk that stays on the skin for hours.
