With our boutique in Mannheim, we turned a shared passion into our profession: long-time perfume collectors, now authorised retailers of selected niche brands. The owner was wonderfully warm and really took her time with me, even though I turned up at the last minute. Honestly, the advice was some of the best I’ve ever had – I immediately felt welcome and in good hands. What I especially loved: there was zero sales pressure. I could take my time smelling, just go with the flow, and even left with a few small samples of my favourites.

I’m usually a regular at the other well-known perfumery in Mannheim, but today I tried Essence Garden for the first time, looking for a new coconut fragrance. The advice I received was excellent: the lady was very knowledgeable and friendly and left a wonderful impression. A truly fantastic shop – 10 out of 10!
